PS3 on eBay

It seems uncertain, which was the bigger surprise the launch of the Sony PlayStation 3 and subsequent immediate sellout of the mere four hundred thousand game consoles that were for sale or how fast they began to appear on Ebay. There were so many up for sale on Ebay it became evident that many people lined up for hours to buy one just to make a quick profit.

The folks at Ebay seemed to be uncomfortable with this and posted many unusual rules for those who were selling PS3 consoles on their site. They demanded proof on the site, by the use of pictures used to sell the machine, showing the item to be authentic by saying a photo with the listing must show the preorder receipt. It also was not permitted to be a buy it now sale, or a one day nor could it be paid for in any manner other than through paypal.

Get Exercise on Your Wii!

Video games have always been directly associated with sitting on your couch, slumped into a day old spot on your favorite cushion and idly pushing buttons on a blocky controller. But Nintendo has changed the face of gaming by introducing their stand up and swing format with the Wii and its famous Wii Remote.

Finding Xbox 360 Game Instructions

One of the age old problems with buying your games used is that when you get them home and pop the case open, often times you might be missing extras – things like the bonus disc, or the instruction manuals. Those little manuals, while often times ignored, can be very important for your children or if you’re a collector. You might not even have bought the game used. All About XBox 360 Mod Chips

What is a “mod chip?”

A mod chip is a tiny silicon accessory that can be installed into your gaming console. It “modifies” your console, hence the name. A console with a mod chip is also known as a “modded console” or a “chipped system.”

What does a mod chip do?

The mod chip takes control of your system and removes limitations that were put on by the manufacturer. It can access all the functions of your xBox 360 that have been blocked or restricted. You can import, back-up, homebrew and bypass security features. 9 times out of 10, mod chips are used to play pirated games. Continue reading

Free PS3 HD Movies

When Sony’s PS3 was first released, much was made of the blu-ray disc format that enables you to watch movies in a far higher resolution than DVD. However, even if you don’t have a High Definition (HD) television connected to your PS3, or you don’t feel the benefits of blu-ray disc are part of your needs right now, you can still watch high-definition movies on and about your PS3 with a variety of sources.

One of the ways to do this is to use the machine’s online browser and go to the PS3 homepage. Here you will find the latest trailers of the upcoming games for the system, as well as demos and movie clips as well, all in glorious HD. You can even download these to your console’s hard drive to either watch later, or play at a later date, if it’s a game demo for instance. Of course, this won’t mean that much if you don’t have an HD TV to start with…
