New Video Game Study Points Out Benefits
Video games are not catalysts of teen violence. In fact social interaction is greatly enhanced with this modern day toy. This is the finding of a groundbreaking study. In the study, more that a thousand teens were asked questions that linked gaming experiences with civic activities and commitments of teens. The study was conducted by an organization called the Pew Internet and American Life Project.
There was a good amount of social interaction during gaming and engagement with the social world as well for teenagers. According to the study, 97 percent of teens played video games and this was a very important part of their social life. A lot of myths have been broken by this study.
