PS3 Games

Let’s face it, we can sit here and talk about the Cell Broadband Engine, Blu-Ray technology, and SIXAXIS controllers until we begin to foam at the mouth but all we really want to talk about is games, right?  When we spend a bundle to get the “bundle” of the console, controller, and game all we really want to do is play the game so let’s get to the real stuff.  The following is a brief description of a few of the games that Sony is set to release when the PlayStation 3 hits the retail stores this week across the country.  Don’t get too excited, the day will come soon enough!

Ø      Resistance: The Fall of Man is what happens when an unknown and very powerful species unexpectedly shows up and begins slaughtering most of Russia and Europe.  It is your job to band together with the British to help and defeat these species to return to life as normal, think you can help?

Ø      NBA ’07 is the best basketball game to hit the stores in some time and it certainly does not hurt that this is the first time you can play basketball in HD does it?  How is this for the cutting edge of sports gaming, you can actually download some of the best games of the ongoing season and replay them on your PS3 to see if you can change the outcome.  Does that sound realistic?

Ø      Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Vegas is the first of the Clancy Empire of action games to hit the PlayStation 3 and it certainly will not disappoint those who have come to love the franchise.  Terrorism is a serious threat in the city that never sleeps so it is up to you to help deter those who wish to do harm from ever inflicting any on the innocent people of Las Vegas.

Ø      Tony Hawk’s Project 8 will give you one of the best and earliest opportunities to get to use one of the most exciting aspects of the new PlayStation 3 with the SIXAXIS controller.  With the ability to use motion detection technology it will be like you are actually the one turning the tricks on the screen.  Get ready to be as close to Tony Hawk as you will ever be.

Ø      Warhawk is an exciting name to see return to the front stage for those that loved the original PlayStation hit game.  You can fly through the skies with blinding speed and precision while all the while attempting to take out every enemy that steps in your way.  Don’t let your buddies in the sky down; make sure that you are on top of your game.
