There are two sides to a coin. Just as video games are said to make children violent, so some video games can make children kinder. These are pro social video games. In such games characters support and help each other.

As a result of three separate studies which have been conducted in different countries with different age groups and many scientific methods, it is suggested that playing games with pro social content lead to helpful behaviour in the children.
This is one of the first studies that shows that pro social video games have very positive effects as well. The impact was the same across three different age groups and three different cultures. As a result of the manner in which the scientific method was employed there is very strong proof that the findings are valid and are applicable to the general population.
